Mike Robinson has experienced considerable success in business, has been a commnity leader, father and husband. Mike believes that giving back to your community and your country is not an option, but an obligation of being an American.
Mike ran for the US Senate in North Carolina, losing out to Senator John Edwards. Based on his outstanding campaign in the Senate primary, Mike was asked by the state Democratic Party to be their nominee for the House of Representatives in the 5th District in North Carolina. Mike earned the support of over 55,000 votes, winning two counties in his unsuccessful bid, and gaining the respect of voters, the media, and even opponents.
Mike has consistently supported a common sense, no special interest approach to North Carolina issues. He opposed the CAFTA treaty which will steal even more North Carolina jobs. Mike supports our troops in Iraq, Afghanistan and around the globe.

Mike was inducted into the Chelmsford High School Alumni Association Hall of Fame in 2011 for his community service.
